Janine uses a variety of techniques to create your perfect brow. No brow is the same as each individuals colouring and face shape is different. No matter which brow style you choose the process and price is the same. Janine uses a manual method to implant pigment into the skin creating your semi permaent brow lasting between 8 - 18months depending on your lifestyle and skin type
Janine uses a combination of hairstrokes and /or shading to achieve different looks depending what style brow you are after, the most common brow styles are as follows;
Microblading/Hairstroke
This is the most natural brow you will get, ideal for those wanting to softly enhance or improve the shape of the brow. It is great for filling in a sparse brow with gaps or even give you a brow if you have no hair at all. The aim of this style is to give you a very natural look almost as though you have had nothing done.
Soft Combo – Using Shading & Hairstrokes
This is using hairstrokes again but incorporating some very soft shading to give the illusion of depth, this look is still very natural and works well for those brows who have little to no hair.
Powder Brow – Using Soft Shading
This creates a soft shaded brow giving ideal for those who wear brow make up daily and want a more defined made up look, but still natural. The soft shading is created by implanting lots of tiny dots into the skin so when healed looks like you have softly powdered your brows in with make up. This look is ideal for those who dont want hairstrokes, or feel the hairstroke look is too natural. This also works great on oilier skin types. An oilier skin type doesnt always hold the hairstroke method well so this is a great alternative
Bold Combo – Hairstrokes and Bold Shading
This is a popular choice for those who like the hairstrokes but also want a bolder brow look. Hairstrokes are used to create a feathery start to the brow then shading is used throughout the brow to give that stronger definition.
Ombre – Bold Shading
Using only Shading which is built up in layers to create a gradual fade in colour. This look is often common for those clients wanting a statement brow, who perhaps wear make up daily and want a fully made up looking brow
Please note these looks are a guideline to give you an idea of what looks can be achieved. During your consultation Janine will explain thouroughly and advise where needed.
About Janine Osborne
17 years experience in the beauty industry
Hi I am Janine. I have worked within the beauty industry for 17 years and during that time have done many courses to expand my knowledge and skills.
I’ve always been creative and in my earlier years did an A level and foundation courses in art and design.
One of my main passions within the beauty industry has always been brow shaping, but I felt for those clients of mine with little to no hair there wasn’t much a standard tint and shape could do.
So I decided to pursue a career in permanent cosmetics and haven’t looked back.
Creating a brow design for someone has enabled me to use my creative background; which I love and work with people, whilst genuinely changing their lives.
This is my passion and I love it.
Having the foundation of working within the beauty industry before persuing a career in permanent cosmetics, I feel has given me the knowledge and experience when it comes to shaping the brow, analysing the skin type and undertones.
All of these factors are important when creating a brow look.
I don’t really advertise, many of my clients come through word of mouth and I feel it is because I offer a professional friendly service with the knowledge to back this up. I love what I do and I think this always comes across.
